Zigma Global Environ Solutions Private Limited is a leading Indian company focused on landfill mining and reclamation. Founded by experienced entrepreneurs and headquartered in Erode, it works on the processing of legacy municipal solid waste from dump yards to recover land. The organization is among the limited set of service providers in this space and currently runs over 24 plants across eight states in India, with project sites located in different parts of the country.

Role Overview

The Project Engineer will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and monitoring project activities at site. The role calls for strong engineering knowledge, the ability to manage teams and resources, and hands-on supervision of operations in a bio-mining or waste management environment.

Key Responsibilities

You will develop timelines, schedules, and work plans for the project while ensuring effective coordination across team members and resources. The position also involves supervising technical and support teams, maintaining project communication, and preparing regular updates and reports.

• Plan project schedules, timelines, and execution workflows.
• Coordinate tasks across the project team and ensure resources are deployed efficiently.
• Supervise technical and other teams working on the project.
• Apply engineering knowledge across electrical, mechanical, civil, and related disciplines.
• Use production management skills for scheduling and budgeting.
• Manage multidisciplinary teams and handle operational resources effectively.
• Demonstrate strong analytical thinking and problem-solving ability.
• Maintain trip and tons log sheets.
• Track machinery condition, health of spares, and plant downtime.
• Ensure manpower availability and record daily attendance.
• Monitor RDF shredding and the quality of aggregates produced.
• Review cost per ton and check log sheets regularly.
• Update daily meeting sheets at the site level.
• Coordinate with the time office.
• Record damage entries and repair entries on the same day.
• Manage inward and outward ticket documentation.
• Follow up on indents and spare requirements for machinery.

Candidate Profile

The preferred applicant should be male, comfortable working at bio-mining or waste management sites, and open to travel as required for the job.

Eligibility and Education

Applicants may come from ITI, diploma, or engineering backgrounds in relevant technical streams. Suitable qualifications include ITI certification in Civil and Mechanical Draughtsman, B.Tech/B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Civil Engineering, as well as diploma holders in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Electronics and Communication Engineering.

This role is intended for candidates who can work on-site in Kadapa, India, and who are willing to operate in the waste management and bio-mining sector.
