Produce Stocker

Role overview

As a Produce Stocker with Walmart Canada, you'll help keep the produce department organized, well-stocked, and ready to serve customers. This role is centered on delivering helpful customer service, maintaining presentation standards, and supporting daily retail operations in the produce area.

Key duties

• Keep the department neatly zoned and organized.
• Check inventory rotation regularly and remove any items that have reached or passed their expiry date.
• Make sure products are labeled, signed, and priced correctly.
• Follow cold chain rules, including thermometer checks, temperature logs, and proper handling of perishable goods.
• Use correct food safety, sanitation, and cleaning practices at all times.
• Carry out ordering, clearance, markdown, markup, pricing, labeling, and signage tasks using the proper procedures.
• Ensure the department stays fully stocked and prepared for customers.
• Comply with health and safety requirements.
• Stock shelves and displays, downstock when needed, apply product protection where required, and complete modular sets, including flex modulars and new shelf caps.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $15.80.

Minimum qualifications

Candidates must be at least 16 years old.
