Role Overview

The Troy Development Council and Troy Area Chamber of Commerce are looking for an energetic, community-focused executive to lead economic development efforts, support business growth, and drive strategic priorities that will shape Troy’s future. This position serves as the head of both organizations and works closely with active boards, employers, and community partners.

What You’ll Lead

You will be responsible for advancing initiatives that attract new investment, help existing businesses stay and grow, and promote workforce-related solutions for the area. The role calls for a leader who can align organizational goals with community needs and build momentum across multiple stakeholders.

Background Sought

Ideal candidates will bring direct experience in economic development, chamber operations or leadership, workforce initiatives, and strategic organizational management. Success in this role also depends on strong financial judgment, the ability to build and sustain partnerships, and comfort working with boards and community collaborators.
