Placement Officer

Role Overview

This position focuses on managing campus placements, building employer connections, and supporting students with career planning and job readiness. The role also involves coordinating with industry partners, maintaining student placement records, and helping institutions achieve stronger recruitment outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Build and maintain relationships with industry partners and prospective employers.
• Assess student training needs and help identify skill gaps.
• Arrange and coordinate campus interviews and recruitment drives.
• Support students through one-to-one and group guidance on academic direction, career goals, and job search planning.
• Help students prepare effective job search strategies and interview readiness.
• Create presentation material or promotional handouts for colleges to share with employers.
• Maintain an updated database of student profiles across departments.
• Plan and execute placement campaigns to improve hiring outcomes.
• Support employers in meeting their hiring requirements.
• Help students build long-term career decision-making skills.
• Provide tools and activities that support career planning.
• Act as a bridge between students, alumni, and the wider employment network.
• Work on improving student skill sets in line with industry expectations.
• Build awareness among students about future career opportunities.
• Assist companies in sourcing suitable candidates for their requirements.
• Help students secure final placements in reputed organizations.
• Monitor placement-related advertisements and match them to suitable student profiles.
• Share resumes of relevant candidates with potential employers.
• Ensure suitable candidate-role matching for stronger career outcomes.
• Organize placement training sessions to prepare students for interviews and group discussions.
• Obtain management approval for campus drives and communicate with candidates through department placement coordinators.
• Coordinate between industry partners and the institution for placement-related collaborations and memorandums.
• Guide and counsel students toward permanent employment opportunities by connecting them with prospective employers.

Additional Information

This opportunity is based on a work-from-home arrangement. Salary is not restricted for the right candidate. Preference will be given to applicants with a background in Healthcare or Clinical Research.
