Role Overview
This full-time, on-site position is based in Post Falls, Idaho. The schedule is Monday through Friday, with Saturdays as needed.
What You Will Do
As a Pest Control Service Technician, you will deliver pest prevention and remediation services for residential and commercial properties. You will assess customer needs, recommend suitable treatment options, and carry out scheduled services in line with company standards and local regulations.
- Prepare estimates for one-time treatments as well as ongoing maintenance plans for new and returning customers.
- Arrive for scheduled appointments on time and follow all company policies and applicable rules.
- Act as a knowledgeable point of contact by recommending the most effective pest control solution for each customer’s situation.
- Use all required safety gear and procedures correctly.
- Keep the vehicle, uniform, application tools, PPE, paperwork, and literature in professional condition and working order.
- Focus fully on assigned duties during work hours and follow direction from your supervisor and the company.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate should have a high school diploma or an equivalent credential, along with strong communication, customer service, and presentation skills. Attention to detail, accurate record keeping, and a self-driven approach are important. Candidates must also be physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform frequent kneeling and bending.
Additional Requirements
- A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are required.
- You must be able to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Prior pest control experience or a pest control license is preferred, but not mandatory.
