Personal Care Assistant

Role Overview

Help at Home is looking for a dependable and caring personal care assistant to provide in-home support for clients in the Oxford, MS community. This is a full-time, on-site role focused on one-on-one assistance inside clients’ homes.

Pay starts at $13 per hour, and wages are paid weekly.

What You Will Do

You will work directly with clients in their homes and help them with everyday tasks and personal support.

• Assist with light household tasks such as tidying, laundry, and basic cleaning
• Support personal care needs, including help with medication and meals
• Provide accompaniment for outings such as grocery shopping and other errands

Who Can Apply

Applicants should meet the stated education and readiness requirements, along with the ability to work in accordance with state screening rules.

• Minimum education of 8th grade or higher
• Experience is required
• Must have access to insured, reliable transportation
• Willingness to complete organizational and state-mandated training for continued development
• Must satisfy applicable state background screening requirements
