About the role
For our team in Essen, we are looking for a detail-oriented Payroll Specialist who enjoys working in a structured environment, has strong interpersonal skills, and can confidently keep track of figures and processes.
What you will do
- Act as the first point of contact for employees, internal colleagues, and external partners on payroll and HR administration matters.
- Coordinate closely with the Finance Department and our external payroll service provider.
- Prepare the monthly payroll and compensation run for external employees and review it carefully for accuracy.
- Handle questions related to payroll tax and social insurance, and communicate with public authorities and health insurance providers.
- Support invoicing and the recharging of assignment hours to our clients.
- Maintain and update employee master data and assist with payroll administration in our system.
- Work alongside our recruiters to support the onboarding process for new employees.
