Role summary
This is a remote contract opportunity for a paralegal supporting a client’s legal operations from anywhere in the United Kingdom. The work centers on document handling, legal research, case tracking, and helping keep files and processes accurate and compliant.
Compensation
The engagement is paid at a rate of USD 42 to USD 55 per hour.
Key responsibilities
- Draft, prepare, and submit legal paperwork such as motions, pleadings, and related correspondence.
- Use legal research platforms and reference sources to gather information that supports case work.
- Keep both paper and digital case records well structured, current, and easy to retrieve.
- Support client communication by preparing replies and coordinating consultation schedules.
- Track deadlines and filing rules closely to help ensure submissions are timely and procedurally correct.
Required experience and competencies
- Background in preparing legal documents and managing case files in line with procedural standards.
- Working knowledge of legal research databases and research workflows.
- Strong organization and careful attention to detail, especially for document control.
- Clear written and verbal communication skills for interaction with clients and legal teams.
- Familiarity with court filing steps and deadline management.
