Role Overview

This full-time, on-site Optometrist position is based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The role centers on performing detailed eye examinations, identifying and managing vision-related conditions, and recommending corrective lenses when needed. You will also guide patients on proper eye-care habits, support them before and after procedures, and work closely with other healthcare professionals to maintain a high standard of care.

Requirements and Qualifications

Applicants should bring strong clinical and communication skills, along with the ability to work with modern optical tools and keep up with current optometry practices.

• Solid knowledge of eye-testing methods, diagnosis of visual issues, and prescribing corrective lenses
• Strong interpersonal skills for patient handling, communication, and relationship-building
• Comfort and proficiency in using advanced optical instruments and related technologies
• Awareness of contemporary optometry developments, industry standards, and best practices
• High attention to detail to support accurate assessment and treatment planning
• Valid optometry license and any required certifications to practice in Dubai
• Prior experience in a retail optical setting is preferred
• BSc in Optometry
