About the Role
Join Perky.ai as an Operations Intern focused on managing the complete customer experience from initial inquiry through to daily use of Perky's products ZapUp and Zaver. This role requires you to serve as the approachable problem solver assisting prospects in understanding offerings, selecting suitable plans, conducting account setups, and troubleshooting any issues encountered. You'll gain firsthand experience running operations in a fast-moving technology company and develop skills in customer interaction and support processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to customer inquiries received via email, chat, phone, and WhatsApp.
- Follow up diligently on leads generated through missed calls, messages, web forms, or social media to ensure no prospect is left unattended.
- Conduct organized outreach with timely first contact, appropriate follow-ups, and smooth transitions to move prospects forward effectively.
- Comprehend customer needs fully and explain product features and benefits clearly to aid in decision-making.
- Assist customers in comparing plans and selecting the most appropriate options.
- Guide new users through account creation, setup, and configuration stages.
- Conduct onboarding sessions and product demonstrations to ensure customers are well-prepared from day one.
- Create and update onboarding materials, checklists, and help documentation.
- Diagnose and address customer technical issues, resolving those within your scope and escalating others to engineering or product teams with detailed documentation.
- Track support tickets through to resolution and perform proactive follow-ups to close out all cases.
- Identify recurring problems and communicate them back to product and engineering for improvement.
- Maintain organized records of customer data, support cases, and onboarding pipeline using CRM and helpdesk tools.
- Assist in developing standard operating procedures, FAQs, and self-service resources to speed up customer access to information.
- Recognize and propose enhancements to gaps within the customer journey.
Candidate Eligibility
- Must be available for a full-time, on-site internship in Panjim, Goa.
- Ready to commence the internship between July 13, 2026, and August 17, 2026.
- Available to commit to a 6-month duration.
- Possess relevant skills and interests related to technical customer support and operations.

Qualifications and Skills Required
- Currently pursuing or recently graduated with a bachelor's degree in any discipline.
- Excellent written and spoken English communication skills; knowledge of additional languages is advantageous.
- Comfortable using technology and quick to adapt to new tools including APIs and software integrations.
- Empathetic and patient with a sincere desire to assist customers.
- Strong organizational skills with keen attention to detail.
- Self-motivated with the ability to independently manage tasks end-to-end without supervision.
- Previous experience in customer support, sales, BPO, or a similar client-facing role is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with customer support platforms such as Intercom, Freshdesk, Zendesk, or HubSpot is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of SaaS business models and B2B onboarding processes.
- Proficient with spreadsheets and capable of producing clear documentation.

- Monthly stipend of ₹12,000 divided into ₹8,000 fixed monthly pay plus ₹4,000 incentive-based pay.
