Role Summary

In this position, you will help strengthen operational efficiency and business resilience by reviewing processes, identifying operational exposures, and supporting Business Continuity Management (BCM) activities. You will work with stakeholders to define critical activities, understand process dependencies, assess impacts and risks, and contribute to improvements that enhance continuity, efficiency, and risk control across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review operational risks across business areas and processes, and carry out detailed risk analysis.
  • Run Risk and Control Self-Assessments (RCSA) and track the progress of mitigation plans.
  • Build and maintain operational risk registers and dashboard-based reporting.
  • Assist in implementing and improving the Operational Risk Management Framework.
  • Carry out Business Impact Analysis (BIA) in line with ISO 22301 requirements.
  • Support the creation, testing, and upkeep of Business Continuity Plans (BCP).
  • Work with business teams to define critical activities, process links, and recovery needs.
  • Map processes and review workflows to uncover operational weak points and control gaps.
  • Monitor operational incidents, investigate root causes, and follow through on corrective actions.
  • Develop and update risk assessment methods, tools, and templates.
  • Prepare risk-related reports and presentations for leadership and committees.
  • Track Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) and flag newly emerging risks when needed.
  • Support regulatory assessments, internal audits, and compliance-related reviews.
  • Encourage risk awareness and advise stakeholders on operational risk practices.

Qualifications and Experience

A bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Finance, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field is required. The role calls for 3 to 5 years of experience in Operational Risk Management, Enterprise Risk Management, Internal Control, or Business Continuity Management. Experience in banking, financing, or broader financial services is preferred. Relevant certifications such as ISO 22301, ISO 31000, CRISC, ORM, or similar credentials are considered an advantage.

Skills and Competencies

The successful candidate should be fluent in English, both written and spoken, and have experience coordinating with stakeholders.
