Member of Technical Staff - AI Engineering

Role overview

This full-time remote position is for an AI Engineering technical contributor supporting one of the client’s teams. The work is centered on building, scaling, and shipping AI/ML systems for production use, with a strong focus on inference performance and high-throughput deployment.

What you’ll do

• Build scalable AI/ML solutions, covering model training workflows, inference tuning, and deployment automation.
• Set up and improve high-performance compute environments for AI workloads so resources are used efficiently.
• Work closely with software engineering teams to embed AI models into live products and services.
• Improve model speed and efficiency using methods such as quantization, pruning, and hardware-based acceleration.
• Explore and apply newer AI/ML approaches to strengthen accuracy and overall system performance.

Skills and qualifications

• Strong Python programming ability with hands-on use of AI/ML libraries such as TensorFlow, PyTorch, or JAX.
• Experience working with distributed data and computing tools like Apache Spark or Dask.
• Understanding of cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure, plus container tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Practical knowledge of model serving and inference optimization tools such as ONNX and TensorRT.
• Solid grasp of algorithms, data structures, and software engineering best practices.

Compensation

The compensation range for this role is USD 160,000 to USD 300,000 per year.
