About the Role
INKEL Limited is a public-private partnership backed by the Government of Kerala and is growing its business development function to win projects in logistics and renewable energy for both public and private clients.
This role is suited to someone who understands how government tenders progress, how PSU decision-makers evaluate opportunities, and how to build professional relationships that can turn into long-term business.
Key Responsibilities
- Spot, pursue, and secure fresh project opportunities in logistics and renewable energy, including solar and wind, across government bodies, PSUs, and private-sector organizations.
- Develop and nurture relationships with influential stakeholders in government departments, local bodies, cooperatives, and public sector undertakings.
- Monitor tenders, EOIs, and RFPs aligned to the company’s business areas and work with internal technical teams to support bid preparation.
- Represent the organization at industry events, government coordination meetings, and client-facing presentations.
- Drive opportunities from the first interaction through to contract closure and revenue conversion.
Qualification
A graduate in any discipline is required. An MBA in Marketing will be considered an added advantage.
Experience
The role requires 5 to 6 years of experience in business development, marketing, or client acquisition.
Experience with PSU environments, government departments, local self-government institutions, or cooperative organizations is strongly preferred.
Applicants should have a practical understanding of public sector procurement, tendering, and approval workflows.
Strong communication and relationship-building abilities are essential for dealing with both government and corporate stakeholders.
Exposure to logistics, infrastructure, or renewable energy domains will be an added advantage.
Why INKEL
Join a Kerala infrastructure growth journey spanning hospitals, highways, solar farms, and wind power projects across the state.
Work with a government-backed organization that blends public credibility with private-sector speed and execution.
