Role Summary

This position is for a Marble Technician based on-site in the United Arab Emirates. The role focuses on handling marble-related work for company facilities and client assignments, including installation, cutting, polishing, finishing, repair work, and surface preparation. The technician is expected to uphold strong quality, safety, and appearance standards while completing tasks efficiently and on schedule.

Key Duties

• Carry out marble installation, cutting, polishing, and finishing tasks.
• Examine marble materials and verify they are suitable for use.
• Prepare surfaces and substrates before installation or repair work begins.
• Perform minor repairs and refinishing where required.
• Use appropriate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
• Keep tools, equipment, and machinery in proper working condition.
• Take measurements, assist with layout planning, and follow project requirements.
• Coordinate with supervisors and technical team members to meet deadlines.
• Maintain a tidy, safe, and well-organized work area.
• Ensure all completed work aligns with company quality and safety expectations.

Qualifications and Job Fit

Candidates should have hands-on capability in marble cutting, installation, polishing, and finishing, along with practical knowledge of stone materials, adhesives, and surface preparation methods. The role requires the ability to understand technical drawings, measurements, and project documents. A strong eye for detail, adherence to safety rules, and commitment to quality are essential.

Additional Requirements

• Ability to perform physically demanding work, including lifting and prolonged standing.
