Role Overview
This position is focused on civil design and engineering work for an integrated steel plant. The role spans the full project lifecycle, from early-stage ideas through execution support and control.
Core Scope of Work
- Develop and shape initial concepts for the plant and related civil works.
- Carry out basic engineering activities to establish the project foundation.
- Prepare engineering inputs needed for procurement activities.
- Produce detailed engineering deliverables for construction and execution.
- Coordinate interfaces across teams, disciplines, vendors, and stakeholders.
- Create detailed construction drawings and supporting deliverables.
- Work closely with vendors and technology suppliers to align technical requirements.
- Estimate macro-level BOQs and project costs.
- Support health and safety planning and implementation.
- Ensure quality requirements are built into design and engineering work.
- Track, monitor, and control design and engineering progress.
Education Requirement
The role requires an engineering degree such as B.E. or B.Tech in any discipline, or a B.Arch degree, from an AICTE- or UGC-approved institution.
