Role overview
Join a fast-moving operations environment where the focus is on keeping sites secure, protecting people and assets, and supporting uninterrupted business activity across the supply chain. This position is for a Security and Loss Prevention Specialist who is practical, detail-focused, and comfortable working closely with operational teams and external partners.
What you will do
- Help strengthen business continuity by contributing to emergency and crisis preparedness for the sites in your region.
- Spot weaknesses in areas such as loss prevention, associate experience, and process design, then help shape effective corrective actions while staying aligned with legal and ethical requirements.
- Act as a local security contact, coordinating risk-related actions with site management and outside stakeholders such as law enforcement and industry bodies.
- Make sure assigned locations follow global security standards and internal compliance expectations.
- Carry out routine physical security reviews, investigate policy breaches, security incidents, and loss events, and turn findings into practical improvements.
- Gather evidence through system monitoring, data review, and interviews to understand what happened and where controls can be improved.
- Support the upkeep of physical security systems by checking their condition and working with specialists and vendors to keep them operational.
- Work daily with external security suppliers to maintain strong service quality and a smooth experience for internal stakeholders.
- Serve as a liaison for internal and external teams including legal, HR, service providers, and local authorities on security and loss prevention matters.
- Deliver awareness sessions and learning initiatives that help other teams understand security and loss prevention policies, procedures, and best practices.
Team and mission
This role sits within the global security operations function and supports business goals by reducing risks that could endanger people, interrupt operations, damage assets, or harm brand reputation. The work involves preventing issues early, responding quickly when incidents occur, and investigating root causes so the same problems do not happen again.
Basic qualifications
- Background in security services, asset protection, loss prevention, risk management, inventory control, investigations, supply chain, auditing, compliance, or a similar field.
- Professional experience using Microsoft Office tools such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Fluent spoken and written German.
- Business-level English communication skills, both written and spoken.
Preferred qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent qualification, in a relevant field.
- Experience with physical security practices, including security systems, investigation methods, and oversight of contract security guards.
- Previous work experience in a distribution center, logistics, or manufacturing setting.
- Comfort working with data and analytics.
- A valid driver’s license.
