Job Summary
This role is responsible for shaping and carrying out procurement plans that support wider business objectives. The position focuses on improving procurement performance over time, ensuring targets are achieved, and helping supply chain operations remain efficient, economical, and dependable.
Policy, Procedures, Process and Systems
- Carry out the operational strategy while staying aligned with the group delegation of authority policy.
- Ensure company policies, systems, processes, procedures, and controls are followed in line with the group delegation of authority policy so that all procedural and legal requirements are met while delivering consistent, high-quality, and cost-effective service.
Reporting
- Prepare all required reports on time and in accordance with business and organizational policies and standards.
- Lead the preparation of periodic management and progress reports to keep senior management updated on initiative status and support informed decision-making.
- Meet organizational reporting and compliance requirements within the required timelines.
Job-Specific Responsibilities
- Create and execute end-to-end procurement plans that support operational priorities and broader business strategy.
- Track procurement results against KPIs such as cost reduction, delivery lead times, and supplier performance, and pursue ongoing improvements.
- Collaborate with supply chain, logistics, and operations teams so procurement planning reflects inventory levels, production timelines, and business demand.
- Spot risks in procurement workflows and supply chain activities, and develop contingency plans to reduce possible disruption.
- Lead supplier improvement efforts so vendors consistently meet expectations for quality, cost, and delivery.
- Introduce savings initiatives across procurement activities by finding ways to improve efficiency without lowering quality or service standards.
- Use data analytics to monitor procurement performance and share practical insights with senior leadership to support data-driven decisions in real time.
- Coordinate with the procurement excellence team to apply approaches that improve sourcing, procurement cycles, and contract management.
- Support budgeting and forecasting for procurement requirements so resources are properly allocated for operational needs.
- Work with internal stakeholders to ensure procurement planning supports their requirements and business continuity.

Essential Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Economics, Business Administration, or an equivalent field is required.
- At least 6 years of relevant work experience is required.
