Junior Data Analyst

Role Overview

Insight Global is seeking an Analyst to support the Business Management team within the B2B portfolio of one of the five major banks. This contract position is based in the Greater Toronto Area and is best suited to someone early in their career who is eager to learn, work with data, and contribute to business reporting.

Assignment Details

This is a 6-month contract with an opportunity to move into a permanent role. The pay range is $21 to $28 per hour. The position follows a hybrid-style onsite arrangement with 2 days a week in the Downtown Toronto office.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Create and update resource movement reports to support business operations.
• Help with workforce analysis, forecasting, and reporting activities.
• Complete manual reporting tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
• Prepare and revise presentations using Microsoft PowerPoint.
• Analyze large data sets in Excel, including pivot tables and XLOOKUP.
• Work closely with teammates to meet a variety of reporting and business support needs.

Required Background and Skills

• A bachelor’s degree in Business or a related discipline.
• 0 to 2 years of relevant experience.
• Advanced comfort with Microsoft Excel.
• Strong organizational ability and analytical thinking.
• Excellent communication skills.

Preferred Experience

• Exposure to financial analysis.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Power BI or Microsoft Power Automate.
