Role Summary
This is a full-time, on-site position in Doha, Qatar for an ISO IMS Lead Auditor. The role centers on managing audits and ensuring integrated management systems align with applicable ISO standards. The auditor will be responsible for planning, carrying out, and documenting internal and external audits, as well as gap assessments and compliance reviews for quality, environmental, and occupational health and safety systems.
Key Duties
The selected professional will work with clients to build, implement, and enhance IMS documentation, workflows, and controls. The role includes advising on corrective and preventive measures, supporting certification and surveillance audits, and evaluating policies, procedures, and operational risks. It also involves conducting training and awareness sessions, drafting detailed audit reports, and sharing improvement-focused recommendations. Close cooperation with QAC’s consulting and technical teams will be essential to deliver consistent service and maintain strong client partnerships.
Qualifications and Professional Expectations
- Hands-on ISO auditing and integrated management system experience is required, with familiarity in standards such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, or similar frameworks, along with the ability to plan and lead integrated audits.
- Applicants should be able to develop and refine management system documentation, including policies, procedures, process maps, and related records that support certification and ongoing improvement.
- Strong analytical ability is needed for gap analysis, root cause investigation, risk evaluation, and the development of practical corrective and preventive actions.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills are necessary for report writing, stakeholder interaction, training delivery, and collaboration with clients and cross-functional teams.
- The role demands strong planning and organizational skills to manage multiple audit assignments, maintain deadlines, and ensure accuracy in all deliverables.
- Formal Lead Auditor training or certification in relevant ISO standards, such as ISO 9001, ISO 14001, or ISO 45001, will be an advantage.
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, quality management, or a closely related field is preferred, though equivalent professional experience may also be considered.
- Prior experience with consulting organizations or in client-facing roles, preferably within the Gulf region, along with knowledge of ISO certification procedures, is desirable.
