Role overview

The Scale India team supports Cisco’s SMB and mid-market business in India, combining sales expertise, technical depth, and close collaboration with partners and customers. The role is focused on driving results in a fast-moving environment, building pipeline health, and helping clients adopt solutions that match their business needs.

What you will do

  • Meet quota commitments for the MNC account portfolio across South India.
  • Handle a transactional sales motion by qualifying and progressing opportunities that originate through partner and customer engagement.
  • Work with partners to ensure accountability through the sales cycle and to improve closure outcomes.
  • Track industry movement, market changes, and competitor activity to support daily partner interactions.
  • Concentrate on direct customer opportunities in the mid-market space, excluding MSP, wholesale, and partner-as-customer business.
  • Spot cross-architecture opportunities and coordinate with the Mid-market MNC POD and partners to execute them.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of Cisco’s solutions, offers, sales programs, and partner promotions.
  • Partner with the wider architecture team to keep the pipeline organized and accurate.

Experience and qualification requirements

  • You should have at least 5 years of experience in sales or inside sales.
  • A demonstrated history of meeting sales targets and handling customer relationships is required.
