Innovation Programs Lead

Role overview

AWS is hiring a customer-focused Innovation Programs Lead in Singapore to shape and run innovation experiences that help enterprise customers move from ideas to production. The role blends Amazon’s innovation approach with AWS technology to deliver measurable business impact, especially around AI and digital transformation. You will work closely with senior customers, field sales, solutions architects, and partner teams to create engaging experiences, drive adoption, and turn insights into scalable programs.

What you will do

• Lead executive-level innovation sessions that showcase Amazon’s working methods and help senior stakeholders uncover practical business outcomes.
• Use first-principles thinking to break down ambiguous customer challenges and map them to actionable AI-enabled solutions.
• Support customers after the session by partnering with field sales to encourage adoption and accelerate progress toward production results.
• Build repeatable engagement models and scalable operating processes that improve quality and efficiency across top customers.
• Use AI to streamline preparation, capture insights, and create reusable learnings from each customer interaction.
• Partner with sales, solution architecture, and ecosystem teams to create a smooth operating model for activating customers into innovation programs.
• Develop playbooks, templates, and tools so successful engagement patterns can be reused across markets in the region.
• Create and maintain modern content on generative AI, agentic systems, and applied AI, keeping it modular, relevant, and adaptable by industry.
• Enhance the customer experience with personalized, dynamic, and immersive content powered by AI.
• Track market signals, competitor activity, and customer trends to keep the content roadmap current as technology evolves.

About the team

The APJ Innovation and Engagement team helps define AWS innovation strategy across 14 countries. The group designs experiences that connect Amazon’s culture and AWS technology to customer needs, especially for senior executives exploring new ways to create business value. The team works across different industries, maturity levels, and competitive environments, and continuously updates its delivery methods, content, and mechanisms to stay aligned with fast-moving advances in AI and technology.

Requirements

• At least 6 years of experience in go-to-market, business development, sales, or consulting.
• Comfort presenting to executive audiences with both technical and non-technical backgrounds.
• Ability to simplify complex or unclear customer problems into clear, outcome-oriented actions.
• Strong capability in applying AI and machine learning to business transformation challenges, including generative AI, agentic systems, and applied AI.
• Proven history of delivering measurable customer outcomes in collaboration with field sales teams.
• Experience working across APJ markets with awareness of regional and cultural differences is preferred.
• Consulting experience advising senior leaders on technology-led change is preferred.
• Interest in Amazon’s innovation culture and the ability to turn it into customer-facing experiences is preferred.
• Practical experience using AI tools in business workflows and customer engagement is preferred.
