Information Technology Officer

Overview

Galadari Saudi Industrial Company (GSIC) is looking for a Saudi national IT Officer in Riyadh who can deliver hands-on, reliable technical support and help employees stay productive across operations in the Kingdom. The role covers everyday IT assistance, device setup, system preparation, and coordination with HR for new hire onboarding.

What you will handle

• Set up, deploy, and look after laptops, desktop computers, printers, and mobile devices.
• Install operating systems and business applications, then reconfigure or refresh them when needed.
• Act as the first point of contact for routine technical support requests from users across Saudi Arabia.
• Work with HR on onboarding activities such as creating IT accounts, issuing equipment, and preparing workstations for new employees.
• Diagnose and resolve issues related to hardware, software, networks, and email.
• Liaise with outside vendors and service providers whenever external support is required.
• Keep IT asset logs updated and ensure hardware is properly tracked and controlled.
• Support system enhancements, security patching, and other IT initiatives as assigned.

Requirements

• You must be a Saudi national.
• A diploma or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a closely related discipline is required.
• At least 3 years of experience in IT support is expected.
• You should have solid hands-on knowledge of Windows, Microsoft 365, and basic networking concepts.
• Practical experience with setting up, reimaging, configuring, and troubleshooting laptops and desktops is necessary.
• Strong communication skills and a structured approach to problem-solving are important.
• You need to work well independently and provide support to users in different locations.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English is required.
