I2P Coordinator - Cargo

Role overview

This position is for an I2P Coordinator - Cargo in Ahmedabad, supporting cargo invoice processing and control activities for Qatar Airways. The role centers on checking, matching, tracking, and reporting supplier invoices in line with group policies, procedures, and applicable guidelines.

Key responsibilities

• Review and reconcile cargo direct operating cost invoices to confirm that charges are accurate and aligned with contracts, agreements, and company policy.
• Validate general ledger coding so expenses are posted to the correct accounts.
• Check invoices against applicable legal, regulatory, and country-specific requirements.
• Document any variances or missing information identified during review and log them in the central database.
• Identify opportunities to improve the invoice verification workflow.
• Complete invoice checks and approvals within the agreed SLA timelines.
• Work toward individual KPI targets while completing required training and development programs.
• Escalate I2P incident tracker items that are nearing SLA deadlines so stakeholders receive timely responses.
• Follow up on open queries and coordinate with relevant stakeholders until issues are resolved within SLA.
• Carry out work in accordance with SOPs and other internal procedure documents, using the latest instructions.
• Undertake additional department duties assigned by the Head of Department.

Requirements

• A bachelor’s degree, or an equivalent qualification, along with at least 2 years of relevant work experience.
• Prior hands-on experience in invoice checking and accounts payable.
• Previous exposure to an airline or logistics environment.
• Strong proficiency in MS Office tools.
• Excellent attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Good verbal and written communication skills with a customer-oriented approach.
• Ability to analyze issues and solve problems effectively.
• Working knowledge of ERP systems.
• Experience with process improvement efforts and initiatives.
