Role Overview
This is a long-term contract opportunity for a senior HR generalist/executive role within the construction sector in Doha, Qatar. The position calls for a professional who can support core HR operations while taking ownership of performance management processes and related reporting.
Key Requirements
The ideal candidate should hold a bachelor’s degree in HR, Business Administration, or a closely related discipline. The role requires 7 to 10 years of HR experience, with substantial exposure to performance management. Practical knowledge of end-to-end performance cycles is essential, including target setting, appraisal execution, calibration sessions, and performance improvement plans.
Hands-on familiarity with performance management systems is needed, along with a strong grasp of KPIs, OKRs, competency frameworks, and performance analytics. The position also involves preparing HR reports, dashboards, and MIS, so advanced Excel capability is important.
In addition, the role includes generalist HR responsibilities such as employee lifecycle support, compensation and benefits, and HR operations. Strong communication, business partnering, and stakeholder management abilities are important. Experience in the GCC, particularly Qatar, is preferred.
