The organisation is hiring an HR Administrator to support the everyday work of the HR function. Reporting to the Associate Director of Payroll & Reward, this role covers a broad range of administrative duties throughout the employee journey, including joining, leaving, employee file management, and support for payroll and benefits activities.
This opportunity is well suited to someone who wants practical exposure across several HR areas, including systems administration, employee support, recruitment, employee relations, and HR coordination. Success in the role will depend on being organised, detail-focused, and eager to learn while helping maintain an efficient and positive HR service.
The position is based in the Euston area of London and follows an office-based schedule, Monday to Friday, 9:00 am to 6:00 pm.
Key duties
- Keep employee information accurate and current by using HR platforms effectively, including BambooHR and ServiceNow.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with Clinical Operations and the Senior Leadership Team to help business processes stay coordinated and professional.
- Develop working knowledge of payroll activities, including calculations, responding to employee questions, and supporting payroll reporting needs.
- Remain informed about legal updates and payroll good practice, and use that knowledge to support ongoing service improvement.
- Prepare and update process documents so they reflect changes in policy, procedures, or legislation.
- Give operational guidance on employee lifecycle matters and HR processes.
- Handle employee relations administration across the business, making sure all records and communication remain compliant and professionally managed.
- Maintain employee files and personnel records to a high standard of accuracy, completeness, and data integrity.
- Provide responsive, high-quality support to employees and line managers, resolving queries quickly and accurately.
- Offer guidance on employee benefits and policy application, using sound judgment when applying discretion.
- Manage transactional HR activities across the employee lifecycle and look for ways to improve processes.
