Role overview
Peak Rentals is hiring a Housekeeper to handle the cleaning and upkeep of sleeping areas, washrooms, shared spaces, and office areas across multiple sites in Morgantown, West Virginia. This is a full-time, non-exempt role within the Rentals business unit and reports to the Operations Manager. The position involves travel between locations.
Key duties
- Keep bathrooms clean by sanitizing toilets, showers, sinks, and countertops.
- Remove dust and maintain furniture and fixtures in presentable condition.
- Ensure kitchen spaces remain clean and sanitary.
- Clean cooking appliances such as the stove, oven, and microwave.
- Deep-clean refrigerators weekly, including removing leftovers and sanitizing the unit.
- Wash windows and other glass surfaces.
- Sweep and mop linoleum floors and vacuum carpeted areas.
- In mobile housing, strip beds, wash and dry towels and linens, and remake beds.
- Empty waste bins and dispose of trash properly.
- Use standard cleaning tools and equipment, including vacuums, brooms, and mops.
- Track cleaning inventory and request or purchase supplies when needed.
- Maintain a stock of all required housekeeping supplies.
- Receive calls for plumbing, electrical, and HVAC issues and notify the proper team for repairs.
- Prepare mobile housing with clean sleeping areas, stocked supplies, fresh towels and linens, and tidy bathrooms, kitchens, and common spaces.

Requirements
- Prior experience in housekeeping or general maintenance.
- A valid driver’s license.
- Comfort using a computer and speaking professionally on the phone.
- Ability to read, write, and communicate clearly with managers.
Compensation
Pay is competitive and will be based on experience. No fixed salary was provided.
Physical requirements
- Work may take place outdoors in rain, extreme cold, extreme heat, high wind, ice, snow, wet or humid conditions, vibration, and dust.
- The role involves frequent bending, twisting, kneeling, stooping, crouching, and crawling.
- Hands must be used to handle, control, or feel objects, tools, and controls.
- The maximum individual lifting requirement is 25 lbs.
