Housekeeper

Overview

Healthcare Services Group is hiring a Housekeeper to help keep a long-term care facility clean, sanitary, and safe. This role supports a positive environment for residents, staff, and visitors while contributing to a high standard of service and care.

Compensation

Pay starts at USD 16.90 per hour. Final pay may differ based on factors such as location, relevant experience, staffing requirements, and other business considerations.

Responsibilities

• Carry out everyday housekeeping duties across resident rooms, bathrooms, shared spaces, and office areas.
• Clean and disinfect spaces according to established procedures and safety standards.
• Keep cleaning records up to date and alert a supervisor about repair needs or safety concerns.
• Follow infection prevention rules and universal precautions to maintain a sanitary setting.
• Communicate courteously with residents, employees, and visitors while delivering strong customer service.
• Handle any other duties assigned by the team.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or an equivalent credential is required.
• Prior housekeeping experience is an advantage, though not mandatory.
• Should maintain a professional, positive attitude and communicate well with occupants, management, and leadership.
• Must comply with COVID-19 vaccination requirements.
• Physical ability is required to lift and carry up to 50 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
• Must be able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for long periods.
• Must be comfortable performing repetitive tasks throughout the day.
• Ability to work safely around cleaning chemicals is necessary.
• Must be able to follow both spoken and written directions.
• Residence within the service area is required.
