You will also develop a strong understanding of domestic and family violence dynamics and the needs of victims within Victim Assist Queensland (VAQ).
Key responsibilities

- Work with government and non-government partners to increase awareness of Victim Assist services and explain how clients can access support.
- Develop and sustain productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders to strengthen the handling of financial assistance applications and the services delivered by Victim Assist.
- Strengthen Victim Assist’s ability to respond with empathy and effectiveness to DFV victims by promoting victim rights, needs, and available support services.
- Look for practical ways to improve service delivery by sharing ideas, seeking input, and using data to guide better outcomes.
- Attend stakeholder networks and meetings to support and promote the work of High Risk Teams.
