Role overview
Exeter Chiefs is hiring a Graphic Designer to join its marketing team in a key in-house creative role. The position focuses on delivering design support across the wider organisation, with responsibility for shaping and managing graphic assets used for communications, events, the club’s commercial partners, and other owned brands.
What you’ll do
In this role, you’ll turn ideas into finished creative output, working across a variety of media and ensuring design work is delivered to a high standard and on time. You’ll collaborate with internal teams and external contacts, manage projects through internal systems, and coordinate with printers and freelancers as needed.
Creative tools and working style
The role involves working with photography, animation, and design tools across Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator, along with Microsoft Office applications. You should be comfortable developing concepts from brief to final delivery and using creative, practical thinking to solve problems quickly.
Working pattern and pay
Working hours are Monday to Friday, 9:00 to 17:30, with on-site attendance required and flexible hours available. Salary is dependent on experience.
Person specification
The ideal candidate will bring strong design expertise, a proactive mindset, and the ability to manage multiple priorities while supporting a fast-moving business environment.
Additional information
A background in sport, media, or entertainment is preferred, though not essential. A degree in Graphic Design or a related subject is desirable, but not a requirement.
Working culture
The successful candidate should value hard work, discipline, honesty, humility, teamwork, and accountability, and be committed to delivering high-quality design support consistently.
