Role Overview
Bumble Inc. is seeking a Graphic Designer to join its Creative Studio in Austin, Texas. This position supports a globally distributed, in-house creative team working across time zones on projects for Bumble Inc.'s portfolio of apps and brands. The role reports to the Design Lead based in the UK.
As part of a small but high-impact team, you will help create engaging, culturally relevant, and effective design work across print, digital, social, and campaign formats. The environment is fast-moving and collaborative, with close coordination alongside designers, art directors, copywriters, video editors, producers, and outside agency and production partners.
What You'll Do
- Create visual assets for a wide range of brand communications, including social, growth, CRM, ASO, marketing, and partnership initiatives across global markets.
- Turn ideas and briefs into polished creative concepts and visually strong design outputs for both print and digital channels.
- Work closely with copywriters, motion designers, and art directors to deliver consistent and engaging creative across multiple brands.
- Bring original thinking to brainstorming sessions and help strengthen the quality of creative ideas.
- Present design work to stakeholders and clearly explain the concept, assignment, and reasoning behind your choices.
- Protect and reinforce brand standards across all touchpoints so the visual identity remains consistent everywhere.
- Organize your workload effectively and raise timeline or resourcing concerns early when needed.
What We're Looking For
The ideal candidate will have a strong portfolio that shows sharp attention to detail and adaptable design thinking. You should be comfortable in a fast-paced setting, motivated by curiosity, and ready to contribute fresh ideas to each brief.
We are looking for someone who can work independently while also thriving in a collaborative, geographically distributed team. A strong work ethic, thoughtful craft, and openness to feedback are important, along with a desire to keep learning and improving.
Qualifications and Experience
- A bachelor's degree in Graphic Design or a related discipline, or comparable professional experience.
- At least 3 years of professional graphic design experience, ideally within the tech industry.
- Proficiency with design tools such as Adobe Creative Cloud and Figma, along with comfort using current and emerging design technologies, including AI-assisted workflows.
- A positive, adaptable mindset and a practical approach to solving complex problems.
- Strong interest in culture and trends.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Comfort managing multiple assignments in a high-pressure, deadline-driven environment.
- Strong time management and meticulous attention to detail.
- Solid understanding of typography, layout, and color theory.
- Ability to produce work for digital, print, packaging, and out-of-home formats.
- Strong conceptual thinking and creative problem-solving ability.
- Alignment with the company's brand vision and values.
