About the company
LinkedIn is a global professional network that helps people build valuable connections, explore career opportunities, strengthen their capabilities, and access insights that support professional growth. The company also focuses on creating meaningful opportunities for its employees through learning, development, and an inclusive environment rooted in trust, care, and collaboration.
The broader mission is to help improve the world of work.
Role overview
This position is based in Dublin, Ireland and follows a hybrid work model, with time split between home and a LinkedIn office based on business needs. The Global Client Executive for the EMEA region will lead key accounts, manage renewals and upsell opportunities, and create new business growth across LinkedIn’s professional solutions portfolio, including Talent, Learning, and WWU.
The role requires close partnership with the Client Director to expand LinkedIn’s presence across large global customers. It involves building trusted senior-level relationships, understanding client strategy and market context, and serving as the main regional contact for major accounts. The successful candidate will help grow both existing and untapped opportunities while ensuring clients gain strong value from LinkedIn products and services.
This is a highly collaborative position that calls for strong internal and external relationship-building, executive-level communication, and the ability to coordinate complex cross-functional support for large enterprise clients.
Responsibilities
- Work in a highly collaborative way with cross-functional partners and keep the client experience focused, clear, and responsive.
- Use executive sponsor relationships to strengthen senior-level client engagement and deepen account relationships.
- Build strong working knowledge of the LinkedIn talent portfolio, including Talent, Learning, and Glint, so you can explain product value and new enhancements effectively.
- Deliver a high standard of service and engagement for the solutions clients already use.
- Work with the Global Client Director to define account objectives, growth strategies, action plans, and tactics for named accounts.
- Own and drive the regional strategy for assigned accounts in EMEA/LATAM while aligning it with the global account strategy.
- Identify decision makers, buying routes, current spend, product usage, and potential revenue expansion opportunities.
- Prospect for new business through local entities with little or no LinkedIn presence, with an expectation of generating 1.5–2 new opportunities each week.
- Negotiate and close orders with the overall LinkedIn investment strategy in mind, then support clients after signature to help ensure product delivery and satisfaction.
- Maintain accurate CRM activity and forecasting in Dynamics, with strong attention to detail and best-practice record keeping.
- Coordinate and guide a cross-functional group of specialists to support account execution and bring in product expertise when needed.
- Position LinkedIn as a strategic partner within the client’s technology ecosystem rather than simply a vendor.
- Keep the Global Client Director informed about new opportunities and account developments.
- Represent client needs and market trends to executive and product teams so the portfolio continues to evolve in step with customer demand.
- Show strong deal-management capability across opportunities of varying size and complexity.
- Support diversity, LinkedIn culture, and company values within the team and division.
Requirements
- At least 6 years of experience in quota-carrying sales roles or an equivalent sales consulting background.
- Minimum 2 years of experience selling to enterprise clients.
- Strong fluency in English.
- Prior experience selling LinkedIn Learning is preferred.
- Background in cross-functional strategy building for EMEA to improve global deal outcomes is preferred.
- Ability to sell successfully to senior leaders in talent, learning, and business functions.
- Track record of closing sales for new, disruptive technology solutions.
- Customer-success mindset with the ability to protect existing revenue and support long-term growth.
- Experience managing both new business and existing accounts.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to create plans that drive deep penetration into global accounts and regional entities.

The role follows a hybrid working arrangement, meaning it is performed partly from home and partly from a LinkedIn office, depending on business needs.
