GIS Analyst - Surveying & GIS Visual Document Understanding

Role Overview

The position focuses on Surveying & GIS work related to visual document understanding. The assignment is intended for someone who can assess model outputs, build structured evaluation tasks, and help improve AI systems through precise, domain-aware feedback.

Key Responsibilities

• Judge how accurately AI systems interpret visual documents in the Surveying & GIS space.
• Create challenging, well-defined tasks with reliable ground-truth answers and clear scoring rules.
• Review AI-produced material and adjust it so it stays consistent with domain standards.
• Offer organized feedback that supports model training and evaluation.
• Partner with subject matter experts to keep datasets aligned, accurate, and useful.
• Work on your own schedule, independently and asynchronously, while meeting deadlines and contributing to model improvement.

Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of Surveying & GIS is required.
• Prior experience evaluating AI models is needed.
• You should be able to design objective rubrics and produce ground-truth outputs.

Compensation and Commitment

The role pays $50 per hour and requires a commitment of 15 to 20 hours each week.
