General Operative

Role Overview

As a General Operative in Sligo, you will support day-to-day warehouse and distribution activities within the assigned area, following direction from your supervisor or manager. The role focuses on accurate handling of stock and customer orders, maintaining safe and compliant working practices, and helping the team meet operational targets.

What You Will Do

• Carry out tasks in the work area assigned by your supervisor or manager.
• Prepare, pack, and dispatch orders with a high level of accuracy and within the required turnaround targets.
• Support goods-in, decanting, and related warehouse processes.
• Restock inventory to help maintain product availability.
• Store products correctly in the designated locations.
• Ensure customer orders are completed with strong attention to accuracy.
• Follow Good Distribution Practice requirements at all times.
• Take part in stock counts and stocktaking activities.
• Help maintain a clean, safe, and hygienic workplace in line with GDP guidelines and other regulations.
• Follow safety rules and best-practice standards to support a secure environment for all warehouse colleagues.
• Work in line with Quality Management procedures and Standard Operating Procedures at all times.
• Be flexible to take on additional operational tasks as needed by the business.
