F&B Service Expert - Alba

Role Overview

This full-time, non-management food and beverage service position is based at The Ritz-Carlton Abu Dhabi, Grand Canal, in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. The role is designed to create a refined and memorable dining experience by combining attentive service with smooth coordination between guests and the kitchen team.

The service expert is expected to handle a variety of guest-facing and operational tasks, ensuring each meal feels personal and seamless. This includes table setup, guest interaction, order-related communication, and keeping service areas clean and organized.

Key Duties

• Prepare tables and service areas before guests arrive.
• Coordinate with the kitchen to support accurate and timely food service.
• Engage with guests throughout the meal and provide attentive, polished service.
• Serve food and beverages while helping create a memorable dining atmosphere.
• Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and supplies.
• Carry out other reasonable duties assigned by the team or management.

Work Standards and Physical Expectations

The position requires a strong focus on safety, quality, policy compliance, and professional presentation. Uniform, grooming, and communication standards must be consistently upheld.

This role involves extended periods of standing, walking, and other active movement across areas that may be sloped, uneven, or slippery. It also requires reading menu details and performing hands-on tasks such as lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, reaching, bending, twisting, and stooping. The work may involve handling items up to 25 pounds independently and up to 50 pounds with assistance.

Qualifications

A high school diploma or GED is preferred. Prior related work experience of less than 1 year is expected. No supervisory background is required, and no license or certification is needed.
