Executive Assistant

Overview

A global pharmaceutical company is hiring on behalf of its client for an experienced Senior Executive Assistant to provide dedicated support to two senior leaders on an initial 6-month fixed-term basis. This role suits someone who can step in quickly, work confidently in a demanding international setting, and become a dependable partner from the outset.

Role summary

You will support two Senior Executives by managing complex calendars, coordinating international travel, handling inboxes, building strong relationships with stakeholders, and keeping key business priorities on track. The position is based in Peterborough and follows a hybrid working arrangement of three office days and two work-from-home days each week.

Key requirements

• You should be available immediately or able to start after only a short notice period.
• Previous experience supporting senior executives in a complex organisation is essential.
• Strong hands-on experience with diary coordination, inbox management, and international travel planning is required.
• You must be confident in stakeholder engagement and clear, professional communication.
• Advanced Microsoft Office ability is needed.
• You should be highly organised, proactive, and comfortable working independently while being part of a broader EA team.

Contract details

This is a 6-month fixed-term contract. The role is hybrid, with 3 days per week in the office and 2 days working remotely. The offered salary range is £48,000 to £52,000 per year, depending on experience.
