Role overview
English 1 is hiring an enthusiastic English Second Language (ESL) teacher who enjoys working with children, values cultural exchange, and is interested in building an international teaching career. This opportunity is suitable for experienced ESL educators as well as teachers moving into a new overseas role. The position offers the chance to teach in China, strengthen classroom expertise, and contribute meaningfully to student development.
What you will do
- Teach English to young learners between 3 and 16 years old in lively, interactive classroom settings.
- Use English 1’s curriculum and digital teaching resources to deliver engaging lessons.
- Monitor learner progress and share helpful feedback that supports improvement.
- Take part in school functions, cultural programs, and community-based activities.

- Fixed salary with a performance-related bonus available after 6 months.

Important note
Hotel accommodation for the first two weeks is sponsored after successful completion of the first-year contract. The visa fee is reimbursed.
