Role Overview
The Email Assistant is responsible for handling email correspondence in a timely, professional, and organized manner. This position helps different teams stay aligned by sorting incoming messages, managing outgoing communication, and maintaining consistent email standards across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Keep track of several email inboxes and ensure replies are handled promptly
- Review, sort, and prioritize messages according to importance and urgency
- Prepare, edit, and send standard email communication
- Maintain email contact lists and distribution groups
- Help build and update reusable email templates
- Work with internal teams to support follow-ups and smooth communication
- Recognize sensitive or high-priority emails and escalate them when needed
- Follow established email practices and communication guidelines
Requirements
- High school completion or an equivalent credential is required; an associate degree or above is preferred
- Prior experience in email coordination or administrative support is helpful
- Strong writing ability and careful attention to detail
- Comfort using email tools such as Outlook or Gmail, along with common office software
- Ability to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines
- Experience with CRM platforms or email marketing tools is an added advantage
