Role summary

This full-time, on-site position is based mainly in Newcastle, New South Wales, with occasional travel to regional job sites. What you will do

You will handle high-quality mechanical and electrical fitting work, diagnose and resolve issues on site, complete compliance documentation, and ensure all tasks are carried out with professionalism and respect toward other trades. You will also help confirm that every system meets relevant safety requirements and work closely with teammates and other site personnel to keep projects running smoothly and on time.

What is expected

Applicants should bring a strong technical background, a reputation for reliability and quality in previous roles, and the ability to troubleshoot effectively. Experience with elevators and associated components is highly advantageous. You should also understand electrical work, including wiring, circuitry, and electrical safety standards, and be comfortable interpreting technical drawings and schematics.

Additional requirements

A technical qualification or relevant training in mechanical or electrical systems is preferred. You must be committed to safe working practices, able to solve problems on your own or as part of a team, and hold a valid driver’s licence with the flexibility to travel when required.
