About the role
Mitsubishi Electric Saudi Ltd. is looking for an experienced Elevator Maintenance Engineer / Supervisor to oversee the planning, execution, and control of maintenance activities for Mitsubishi elevators. The role calls for at least 4 years of progressive success in an elevator company, with responsibility for delivering work within budget, quality requirements, and safety standards.
Key responsibilities
- Build weekly and monthly maintenance plans and arrange the manpower needed for upcoming work.
- Work with foremen to make sure technicians have the right tools and materials for each job.
- Stay in contact with maintenance customers regarding existing and renewed contracts to support continued service delivery.
- Raise spare-parts requests on time so stock levels remain adequate.
- Adjust elevators under maintenance in line with Mitsubishi standards.
- Allocate tasks to route technicians and share relevant updates on quality assessment methods with field staff.
- Track, issue, and record tools, equipment, and spare parts used for projects.
- Support customers in identifying the service type they need and explaining the spare parts required.
- Prepare spare-parts quotations and monthly maintenance reports for the maintenance manager’s review and action.
- Perform annual equipment audits and semi-annual physical spare-parts stock checks together with the storekeeper.
- Manage maintenance and spare-parts manuals and update them whenever necessary.
- Develop quality and safety inspection plans, introduce in-process audits and corrective actions, and carry out quality assurance checks across all project stages.
- Ensure all staff receive PPE and keep enough protective equipment available for ongoing work.
- Run safety awareness sessions regularly or whenever needed.
- Verify quality checks for factory and local materials and recommend improvements that align with quality standards and company policies.
- Conduct site audits to confirm work quality and coordinate continuously with quality control teams on installation standards and procedures.
- Monitor technicians’ performance against schedules and quality expectations.
- Support continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to enhance systems, processes, cost efficiency, and productivity.
- Supervise, guide, and support direct reports in carrying out daily work according to company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- A bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related discipline is required.
- At least 4 years of hands-on experience in equipment maintenance, preferably across any brand.
- Strong computer skills, including practical knowledge of MS Office.
- Fluency in both Arabic and English, with strong communication ability.
