About the Role

This position is ideal for someone who genuinely enjoys food-related media and can turn trends, audience behaviour, and creative insights into compelling video and photo stories for Eatbook’s digital channels. You will help shape fresh content ideas, take charge of shoots, and produce polished, platform-ready assets for social media. The role also requires close collaboration with different teams, along with supporting and coaching junior creatives to uphold strong standards in creativity and storytelling.

What You Will Do

  • Develop original food-focused video and photography concepts for Eatbook’s online platforms.
  • Convert food trends, audience insights, and platform patterns into content ideas that are easy to share and engaging to watch.
  • Take part in planning discussions and ideation sessions to keep Eatbook’s creative direction evolving.
  • Plan and run shoots for food photography and video across social channels.
  • Direct on-camera talent, compose shots, and capture high-quality visuals that fit Eatbook’s storytelling style.
  • Edit photos and videos into polished content tailored for social media distribution.
  • Maintain the brand’s visual, narrative, and quality standards across all output.
  • Partner with the social media team to ensure creative work supports campaign goals and audience engagement.
  • Review how content performs and use those learnings to improve future formats and storytelling approaches.
  • Coach and support junior creatives and interns on production methods, editing processes, and creative storytelling.
  • Share constructive feedback to help the team maintain consistently strong creative work.

What We’re Looking For

  • At least 3 years of experience in video production, digital content creation, or a creative role in media, social media, or lifestyle environments.
  • A background in Media, Communications, Film, or a similar field is considered an advantage.
  • Strong enthusiasm for food culture and Singapore’s F&B scene.
  • Hands-on ability to shoot and edit engaging video and photo content.
  • Working knowledge of graphic design for social and digital content.
  • Comfort using CapCut, Canva, Adobe Premiere Pro, Adobe Lightroom, or similar tools.
  • Good grasp of short-form video storytelling and social-first content formats.
  • Familiarity with content trends and best practices on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
  • Ability to turn audience behaviour and insights into strong creative concepts.
  • Previous experience mentoring or guiding junior creatives.
  • Social media copywriting experience is an added advantage.
