Role Overview

Healthcare Services Group (HCSG) is hiring a Dietary Aide to help prepare and serve meals for residents in a long-term care setting. This role supports the delivery of nutritious meals while contributing to a positive resident experience and a high standard of service.

Pay

Starting pay is USD $11.44 per hour.

What You Will Do

  • Help prepare food by chopping vegetables and assembling salads.
  • Deliver meals to residents based on dietary instructions and correct portion sizes.
  • Wash, sanitize, and maintain kitchen tools, equipment, and dining spaces.
  • Work in line with food handling and sanitation standards.
  • Provide friendly, respectful service to residents, staff, and visitors.
  • Carry out other tasks as assigned.

Qualifications

  • A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
  • Prior experience in a food service or kitchen environment is preferred, though not mandatory.
  • You should be able to take direction and work cooperatively with others.
  • A positive attitude and strong communication skills are important for working with occupants, management, and HCSG leaders.
  • Compliance with COVID-19 vaccination requirements is needed.
  • Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and push or pull up to 50 pounds.
  • Must be able to stand, sit, bend, and walk for long periods.
  • Ability to perform repetitive tasks consistently is required.
  • You must be comfortable working near food and cleaning chemicals.
  • A current ServSafe or Food Handler certification is required where state or county law applies.
  • Residency within the service area is required.
