Role overview
KPMG Jamaica’s Jamaica Extended Support Services (JESS) team in Kingston is hiring a Data Analysis Manager to lead data-driven initiatives that turn raw information into actionable business insight. This role sits within the Digital & Data Strategy Unit and supports the Global Data Strategy & Operations team, helping deliver data solutions that inform strategic decisions.
About the team
JESS is a delivery center based in Kingston that provides back-office support to KPMG in the United States. The team works on high-impact data activities in a collaborative setting and plays an important part in supporting global business outcomes.
What you will do
- Oversee data onboarding, analytical work, and validation efforts.
- Serve as a data subject matter expert while working closely with developers and business partners.
- Convert business requirements into technical outcomes through data mapping, quality controls, and metadata practices.
- Guide and contribute to project delivery across the software development life cycle.
- Assist with QA, UAT, and improvements after deployment.
- Coach team members on data modelling, quality standards, and governance practices.
What we are looking for
The role calls for a bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution and at least 5 years of experience in data sourcing, analysis, and integration. You should be comfortable working with SQL and tools such as Alteryx, and have practical exposure to data warehousing, business intelligence, and big data environments such as Hadoop. The position also requires the ability to design and improve complex data workflows and mappings.
Working arrangement and conditions
This is a hybrid role based in Kingston, Jamaica. You will work partly from home and partly from the office, with a minimum of five in-office days each month; this may increase depending on business requirements. The role is set in a fast-moving team environment, and day-to-day work is expected to be done largely in a paperless setting using information systems throughout the workday. Extended working hours may be needed from time to time, including on public holidays.
