Role overview
Amazon is focused on being the world’s most customer-obsessed company, and this role supports that goal by helping improve how customers experience delivery and logistics. As a Delivery Station Customer Service Associate, you’ll provide practical, on-site assistance so packages move on time and customers receive dependable service.
What you’ll do
- Act as a point of contact between customers and the experts who can provide the latest package updates.
- Speak with customers in person, as well as by phone and email.
- Show empathy, put customer needs first, and handle each interaction with respect.
- Resolve delivery-related concerns while setting clear and realistic expectations.
- Interpret customer issues accurately and respond in a suitable way.
- Write responses that are clear, concise, accurate, and grammatically sound.
- Use sound judgment and logical thinking to determine the best outcome for the customer.
- Make fast, effective decisions that support customer satisfaction.
- Work a flexible full-time schedule of more than 40 hours per week.
Work environment
You will be stationed at a last-mile delivery warehouse, supporting the logistics operation as orders are prepared and delivered. In this setting, you will coordinate with warehouse teams, delivery partners, and customers whenever guidance is needed. If a delivery must be changed, you will communicate that update to the delivery partner. If a delivery issue appears, you will address it immediately to help ensure a smooth customer experience.
Team and growth
The customer service group plays a direct role in improving the customer experience and reducing customer effort. It is an inclusive team that aims to support employees so they can stay focused on customer happiness. The broader function also offers exposure to process improvement, customer experience, data analysis, and customer retention.
Qualifications and expectations
- A high school diploma or equivalent is required.
- You should be fluent in speaking, reading, and writing English.
