About the Role
This position is for quantitative specialists who want to contribute to the training of AI models. You will collaborate with advanced AI systems on tasks such as reviewing AI-produced quantitative analyses, solving technical challenges, and offering feedback that helps improve how models reason through data, scientific questions, and numerical problems.
Candidates from a wide range of quantitative backgrounds can fit this work, including data science, astrophysics, economics, biostatistics, operations research, and similar disciplines. If you are accustomed to rigorous, data-driven thinking, your experience is relevant here. Some people take on this role in addition to another full-time job, while others use it as their main work.
How the Selection Process Works
After creating an account, you will complete a short assessment that acts as the screening step. If successful, you will receive confirmation by email and paid tasks will be unlocked on the platform.
What You Can Expect
- Choose the projects you want to take on and decide when to work on them.
- Work independently on your own computer from home.
- Earn hourly pay starting from $50 to $100+ USD, with bonus rates available on certain projects.
Key Responsibilities
- Check AI-generated quantitative outputs for correctness, including statistical work, predictive modeling, scientific interpretation, and evidence-based conclusions.
- Create and solve quantitative tasks used to train and evaluate AI systems, covering forecasting, experimental analysis, optimization, and statistical inference.
- Draft precise technical write-ups and maintain well-structured analytical code.
- Share feedback that helps improve future AI models focused on quantitative reasoning.
Qualifications
- At least 2 years of practical experience in a quantitative job or research setting, such as data science, statistics, economics, finance, physics, biology, epidemiology, operations research, or a related area.
- Working coding knowledge is required, along with the ability to write and review analytical code from start to finish.
- Hands-on familiarity with statistical techniques, predictive modeling, and experiment design, including A/B testing, hypothesis testing, regression, classification, and time-series forecasting.
- Strong English fluency at native or bilingual level, plus excellent written communication skills.
- A bachelor's degree in a quantitative subject such as Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, or Engineering is preferred; a master's degree or PhD is an added advantage.
- Additional proof of expertise, such as a Kaggle competition ranking or AWS/GCP ML certification, is a plus.
Important Notes
This is an independent contractor opportunity. Payment is handled through PayPal, and PayPal manages any USD currency conversion. You will never be asked to pay any fee or make a deposit. Only applicants from the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Ireland, Australia, and New Zealand are eligible to be considered.
