Role overview
This position is responsible for planning and coordinating a wide range of operational activities assigned to it, with the aim of improving hospital productivity, strengthening performance, and supporting the delivery of effective, high-quality healthcare services and patient outcomes.
Core responsibilities
- Manage the daily functioning of clinical operations and help ensure services run smoothly and efficiently.
- Put operational policies, standards, and procedures into practice in line with the hospital’s objectives.
- Support long-term planning by spotting opportunities to improve services, introduce innovation, and expand capacity.
- Oversee quality assurance efforts and help maintain excellent standards in patient safety, care, and satisfaction.
- Monitor and evaluate key performance indicators related to clinical results, operational performance, and patient experience.
- Act as an advisor and subject matter resource for senior management on clinical operations matters.
- Support budgeting, allocation of resources, and cost control so financial and operational resources are used effectively.
- Gather and interpret data to identify issues that need urgent action or deeper review, and propose improvements to operations.
- Prepare and deliver reports covering progress, findings, and operational concerns to relevant stakeholders.
- Comply with all hospital policies and procedures.
- Take part in learning, training, and development activities for self and others, where applicable.
- Carry out any other related duties as assigned.
Education
A Master’s degree in Business Administration, a healthcare-related field, or another relevant discipline is required.
Experience
At least 11 years of relevant experience is required.
