Role Overview

Novotel & Adagio Premium Dubai Al Barsha is looking for an experienced and detail-focused Carpenter to join the team in Dubai. The role involves constructing, repairing, and maintaining a variety of wooden structures and fixtures across the property. A strong eye for workmanship, careful attention to detail, and the ability to coordinate well with others are important for success in this position.

Key Duties

• Build, fit, and repair wooden items such as cabinets, bed frames, doors, chairs, and other furniture pieces.
• Evaluate property requirements and produce custom woodwork when needed.
• Install and finish fixtures including windows, frames, flooring, and trim work.
• Accurately frame walls and set door frames.
• Support show and production fabrication activities when assigned by management.
• Keep the work area neat, safe, and orderly.
• Look after company tools and equipment through proper use and maintenance.
• Work alongside other trades and team members on shared projects.
• Deliver courteous and professional service when dealing with clients or guests.

Candidate Profile

• A high school diploma or an equivalent qualification is preferred.
• Prior experience as a finished carpenter is an advantage.
• Ability to use and care for standard carpentry tools effectively.
• Capable of reading and understanding technical documents and blueprints.
• Good understanding of wood, plywood, and wallboard construction methods.
• Physically fit with the stamina needed to handle carpentry work throughout the day.
• Strong focus on accuracy, finish quality, and workmanship.
• Creative problem-solving ability and practical thinking.
• Safety-first attitude with consistent adherence to safety procedures.
• Clear communication and good interpersonal skills.
• Comfortable working independently as well as in a team setting.
• Flexible enough to adjust to changing priorities and project needs.
