Role Summary
This full-time, on-site position is based in Singapore. The Business Development Manager will drive new business growth by identifying opportunities, nurturing relationships with current and prospective clients, and promoting the company’s financial service offerings.
Key Responsibilities
The role covers the full sales cycle from opportunity generation to deal closure. The selected candidate will plan and execute sales initiatives, research the market, create proposals, present solutions to clients, and negotiate agreements. The position also requires close coordination with accounting and advisory teams to shape services around client requirements, monitoring sales results, and sharing updates and insights with company leadership. A professional brand presence and active contribution to the company’s expansion in Singapore and other markets are essential.
Qualifications
The ideal applicant should have experience in business development and sales, including lead generation, managing a pipeline, and building relationships with corporate clients. Strong verbal and written communication skills, confident presentation ability, and negotiation expertise are important, along with the capability to explain financial services to audiences without a finance background. Knowledge of accounting, bookkeeping, payroll, compliance, GST, and local regulatory matters will be beneficial. The role also calls for analytical thinking, strategic awareness, and the ability to manage several priorities independently while meeting revenue and activity goals in a demanding environment. A bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Marketing, or a related discipline is preferred, as is prior experience in professional services or financial services. Since this is an on-site, client-facing role in Singapore, English proficiency is required; additional regional language skills are an advantage.
