Role Overview

Supermicro is looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join its EMEA organization. The position is centered on bringing in new enterprise accounts and deepening business within current customers. Success in this role will come from growing revenue, positioning Supermicro’s solution portfolio effectively, developing strong executive-level connections, and coordinating across teams to close strategic opportunities.

Key Responsibilities

  • Target, win, and expand enterprise accounts across AI training and inference, HPC, data platforms, cloud, IoT, and edge markets.
  • Create strong multi-layered relationships and secure executive sponsorship in large, complex customer organizations.
  • Partner with strategic alliances and technology ecosystem partners to pursue joint opportunities.
  • Strengthen existing account relationships by identifying cross-sell and upsell opportunities that increase wallet share.
  • Monitor market developments and emerging trends to identify new commercial opportunities and shape sector-specific strategies across Finance, Public Sector, Telco/Media, Manufacturing, Retail, and Energy.
  • Manage pipeline discipline by keeping records current, advancing opportunities with clear next steps, and providing reliable forecasts.
  • Work closely with commercial, technical, and operations teams to deliver a high-quality customer experience.

Requirements

  • At least 5-10+ years of experience in enterprise business development or strategic sales for infrastructure products such as servers, storage, AI/HPC, cloud, or edge, with a demonstrated record of winning new customers and handling design-in sales.
  • Proven success in generating pipeline and managing complex opportunities involving multiple stakeholders, including IT, business leaders, procurement, and partners.
  • Demonstrated experience driving enterprise business development and sales across the EMEA region.
  • Ability to convert technical ideas into industry-specific value messages and connect architecture or workload decisions to measurable business outcomes in executive conversations.
  • Strong discipline around sales process management, accurate pipeline tracking, clear written and verbal communication, and a confident executive presence.
