Role Overview

This opportunity is for a performance-oriented IT business development professional to lead and expand Simplix’s IT distribution and cybersecurity sales channel in Qatar. The main emphasis is channel sales: finding, onboarding, and enabling system integrators, resellers, and IT partners to promote and sell Simplix-distributed products such as cybersecurity offerings, network switches, and related infrastructure. In addition, the role requires flexibility to support Simplix’s IT managed services and other business areas by taking on project-based and cross-functional IT opportunities as they arise.

Channel & Partner Sales Responsibilities

  • Research, approach, and onboard system integrators, VAR partners, and IT resellers across Qatar
  • Develop long-term relationships with SI partners to help sustain product movement through the channel
  • Run regular partner touchpoints, including product presentations, joint customer visits, and pipeline discussions
  • Assist partners with technical inputs, commercial offers, and pricing recommendations
  • Represent Simplix and its vendor brands during partner meetings, industry events, and vendor-led sessions

Direct Business Development Responsibilities

  • Reach out to end-user organizations in the corporate, government, and semi-government sectors
  • Collaborate with partners to develop and win project opportunities related to cybersecurity and networking infrastructure
  • Manage a well-defined sales pipeline with clear stages, values, and expected closing dates
  • Prepare techno-commercial proposals and quotations for prospects and partners

Cross-Departmental IT Contribution

  • Support the IT managed services team in identifying and defining project requirements for both new and existing clients
  • Help create leads for other IT services such as managed services, IT staffing and outsourcing, and digital transformation
  • Coordinate between sales, delivery, and vendor teams to ensure smooth project transition and execution
  • Stay adaptable and ready to switch priorities as business opportunities change

Reporting & Coordination

  • Keep partner activity and pipeline records updated at all times
  • Share regular sales updates and forecasts with the Director
  • Work with vendors on deal registration, pricing approvals, and partner enablement support

Requirements

  • 3 to 6 years of IT sales experience in Qatar, ideally in distribution or channel sales
  • Good working knowledge of cybersecurity products, network switches, and IT infrastructure solutions
  • Existing relationships with system integrators, IT resellers, or IT project managers in Qatar will be a strong advantage
  • Ability to work comfortably in a fast-moving, multi-tasking, cross-functional environment
  • Strong commercial judgment, including proposal building, margin negotiation, and deal closing
  • Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is considered an advantage
  • Qatar driving licence is mandatory
  • Qatar residency or a transferable visa is required
  • Immediate availability to join is preferred
