Batcher

Job Overview

The Batcher role in Bethlehem, Pennsylvania focuses on preparing and blending the correct ingredients to produce finished syrup for bottling, canning, and premix/post-mix production. Work is planned according to the number of cases and tanks scheduled each shift.

Schedule

This is a full-time onsite position. The standard workweek is Monday through Friday, with Sundays worked as needed. Typical hours are:

• Monday: 4:30 AM to 3:00 PM
• Tuesday to Friday: 6:30 AM to 3:00 PM

Overtime, weekends, and holidays may be required based on scheduling needs.

Key Duties

• Manage the syrup supply flowing to production lines.
• Measure, mix, and combine ingredients to produce different batches.
• Adjust and set machine or equipment settings for operation.
• Carry out quality inspections as needed.
• Complete sanitation tasks.
• Track and manage ingredient inventory.
• Receive sugar deliveries and monitor usage and control.
• Keep accurate production and operational records.
• Drive and operate a forklift truck.
• Work in line with company policies and safety requirements.

Compensation and Total Rewards

The pay for this position is $26.00 per hour.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or GED is preferred.
• At least 3 years of experience in food production operations is required.
